From the world of Hé Fēn Mahjong
A little strategy.
A lovely clear.
Three tile puzzles. Your own sweet rhythm.
Pull up a chair — Maya’s saved you a place.

What’s your kind of clever?
One more move.
Three different ways.
Follow a feeling, learn the little rules, and discover just how much a tile can do.
01 / Find your flow
Keep a good
thing going.
One number up. One number down. Keep your chain alive as you work your way across the board.
- Choose an open tile one number above or below the table tile, or its exact twin.
- Look ahead: the tile you take can open the route to your next move.
- Turn the wall when you need a new start. Clear the board before it runs out.
A satisfying run starts with a thoughtful first step.

02 / Spot the opening
A familiar pair.
A fresh possibility.
The quiet pleasure of mahjong solitaire. Uncover matching tiles, open up the layers, and find the pair that changes everything.
- Find two identical tiles that are free to move.
- A free tile has nothing on top, with its left or right side open.
- Clear pairs to uncover more. Hints, undo and shuffle are there when you need them.
Sometimes the best match is the one that makes room.

03 / Think in threes
Three’s a charm.
Seven’s the limit.
Every tile you take is a little commitment. Match three alike in your tray — and leave yourself space for what comes next.
- Tap an uncovered tile to move it into the seven-space tray.
- Three identical tiles clear automatically, making room for your next move.
- Plan which layers to uncover. Seven unmatched tiles fill the tray; undo lets you rethink.
Easy to understand. Lovely to figure out.

A small daily ritual

Drop in for the Daily, explore a different game, or pick up where you left off. Your saved board will be waiting.
Play at your pace, with free undo and a choice of tile styles, music and haptics.
Good to know
Come on in.
We’ll show you.

Do I need to know mahjong?
No. These are standalone tile puzzles, each with its own simple rules. Maya’s guided lessons help you get started, and you can revisit the rules in the app.
Can I take my time?
Yes. Chains, Classic and Trio have no countdown timer. The app saves your current board so you can return to it later.
Is Hé Fēn Match available yet?
Match is currently in closed testing on Android and TestFlight testing on iOS. Public downloads will be available here once testing and store review are complete.
How is this different from Hé Fēn Mahjong?
Match is a collection of solo tile puzzles. Hé Fēn Mahjong is its sister app, with tools and play for the wider mahjong game. They share the same colourful world and love of tiles.
What happens to my play data?
Match uses play and diagnostic information to improve the game. Your name, settings and saved boards stay on your device. Read our privacy policy or visit Your data for deletion options.
